I enjoy hearing about others applying these concepts! I see a range of p-values being used in my lab and I make sure to always question why they are being used. Often the answer is: “because it seemed reasonable” which is not a rigorous reason in my book. Significance levels seem somewhat arbitrary and I am always looking for advice on how to choose the correct level!
