I have tried Bokeh and in my opinion (which may be wrong!), plotly is much better. The syntax for plotly is much more intuitive resulting in less time spent making graphs. More importantly for me, the plotly documentation is far beyond that of Boken meaning I can quickly look up how to make whatever I need. Also, plotly has just as much interactivity as Bokeh. If you want, you can also use dash (from the Plotly company) to make dashboards.

Overall, you only need to know one of the two and I would recommend plotly. It’s easier to get started (especially with cufflinks) and outperforms Bokeh in all the relevant areas.
